How to measure for a made-to-measure bookcase
Measure the wall or niche width in three places: at the floor, at mid height and at the top, and enter the smallest result. If the bookcase should reach the ceiling, measure height the same way on both sides.
Depth from 25 to 45 cm. A shallower bookcase sticks out less; a deeper one holds albums and binders. Before you pick the size, measure the largest book you want on it.
Shelves and back panel
Bookcase Linea spaces shelves every 36 cm, and in the configurator you choose how many: from 0 to 10.
You also choose the back: full, in board matching the carcass colour, or none if the wall should show behind the books.
Laminate board, veneer or lacquer
On a filled bookcase you mostly see the board on shelf edges and sides, because spines cover the rest. Bookcase Linea comes in laminate board, veneer or lacquered MDF.
Laminate board resists scratches and is easy to clean: Dąb Halifax naturalny, Biały mat, Szary kaszmir, Beton ciemny and Orzech Lincoln. Veneer on board is oiled: Jesion bielony gives light shelf lines, Orzech amerykański dark ones, Dąb olejowany something in between. Lacquered MDF has a smooth matte solid colour: Lakier leśna zieleń, Lakier piaskowy and Lakier grafitowy.
